These briquetting presses compact short, gravity flowing chips produced during metal cutting.
The press cylinder achieves a face pressure of up to 315MPa. Chips of non-ferrous metals, steel, cast iron and also aluminium chips are pressed into high- density briquets, diameter 70 to 80 mm, length approx. 90 mm, weight approx. 2 kg (depending on material). Throughput is in the range of 100-800 kg/hour.
